New superintendent

Dr. Jeff Snell has been chosen the next superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools. The board of directors announced its unanimous decision on March 3. “I am grateful for this opportunity to come back to Vancouver and serve the students, staff and community,” said Dr. Snell.


The selection of Dr. Snell is pending acceptance and final contract negotiations with the school board. Dr. Snell will begin his role as superintendent in July 2021. Learn more about the new superintendent.
