Grapevine Parade of Lights - Thursday, December 3rd at 7 pm
Come see how the GMS STEM Academy float shines in the Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 3rd beginning at 7 pm. Come early to reserve your viewing spot along historic Main St. in downtown Grapevine and enjoy more than 100 entries including lighted floats and marching bands.

New this year is a People's Choice Award, which will be voted on by parade viewers on Twitter. Simply tweet using the hashtag #GVParadeVote, followed by the name or organization of your favorite parade float to cast your vote. Voting will open at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 3 and will close at midnight. Submissions will only be counted during that time period and only from Twitter. Results will be announced via the Chamber's website and social media channels on Friday, December 4.
GMS STEM Academy Family Night Exposition - Wednesday, December 9th from 6-7 pm
You are invited to an exposition of the projects and activities GMS STEM Academy students enjoyed this Fall during "Exploration Day". Bring the whole family, and celebrate your child's creativity as they take you on an interactive tour of our engineering electives on display. Exposition open 6-7 pm on Wednesday, December 9th at GMS.
Perot Museum Tech Truck Visits GMS
Plan a few extra minutes while attending the GMS STEM Family Night Exposition to enjoy the hands-on, maker-based science, technology, engineering, art and math experiences of The Perot Museum TECH Truck. This unique exploration opportunity is available from 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Wednesday, December 9th in the GMS parking lot.
Saturday, February 20, 2015: Visioneering 2016 at the SMU Lyle School of Engineering
Visioneering celebrates the ways that engineering makes a difference in the world by immersing middle school students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in the fields of engineering, the design process, team work, presentation, and problem solving skills.
