All For Books

As part of our community outreach program, we collecting coins as part of the All For Books Program through Scholastic. All for Books is an easy and effective way to unite the school community and provide more books for kids and teachers. All funds collected through All for Books are used to buy more books from the Book Fair.

Beginning October 19th, we will be asking students to bring in their pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters to FILL THEIR MONSTER! Each grade level will have a monster change bottle to collect their coins.

We are raising money to purchase books for the Maryland Book Bank. The Maryland Book Bank distributes over 100,000 free books to children, teachers, schools and organizations each year. Please visit to learn more about this great organization.

Each class in the winning grade level will have a celebration party during their media class. So check under your couch cushions and on the floorboard of your car to find all that spare change for a great cause!

Leave a Book - Take a Book

We are getting ready to launch our Leave a Book - Take a Book program at the Family Literacy Night November 5th. This program is to ensure students always have books at home to read. They may take home no more than one book a day. The books do not need to be returned but they can be, to add back into the program for another child to take home.

If you have any new or gently used books you would like to donate to the Leave a Book - Take a Book Program, please send them in with your student or you can drop them in the basket in the front office.

Thank you for your support!
