June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month
WBSD held a very impactful Gun Safety Forum on April 11, 2023 at West Bloomfield Middle School. Did you know that the WBSD Board of Education passed a resolution in support of Gun Safety and Safe Gun Storage. Click here to read the resolution. Kids Klub Services
Thursday, June 15 is a half-day of school. WBSD will not be offering PM Kids Klub on Thursday, June 15. Morning services are still available to those families that are registered.

Congratulations Jennifer Sepetys!
Congratulations to our very own Jennifer Sepetys! Jennifer was selected as one of fifteen secondary school educators from 14 U.S. states to participate in the one-year Genocide Education Project Teacher Fellowship Program in Armenia. Sepetys will travel to Armenia in July 2023 for a 10-day intensive professional development based at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute in Yerevan and will then lead teacher training activities for educators back in Michigan.

Memorial Day Parade
WBMS Robotics participated in the Keego Harbor Memorial Day Parade. Community involvement and participation is one of their core values. Thank you for supporting our community!
Planning Ahead
American Sign Language 1 final project is signing a children's story. Student Rebekah Goodman signed A Car Followed Us using ASL grammar, classifiers, facial expressions, role shifting, and storytelling skills. To view the video, click here.
Congratulations to the West Bloomfield High School Band on a successful performance at the Keego Harbor Memorial Day Parade. The students did a wonderful job performing and honoring their school, community, and country. Go Lakers!
The 5th Grader's from Scotch, Sheiko, and Roosevelt had their first concert showcasing what they learned through the 5th grade instrumental music program. Thank you to Linda Trotter, Andrea Cole, Jesse Saxe, and Kelli Kwiatkowski for giving our 5th grade students the foundation to begin learning a strings or band instrument. They are off to a great start as they begin Middle School.
Boys Varsity Golf finishes 15th place at D1 Regionals
The boys golf team finished their season with a team score of 351. The team was led by Ryan Denawetz (86), Cole Budin (86), Tyler Moon (89), Ryan Wold (90), Rocco Valente (90). The guys had a great season showing growth and persistence.
