2021-2022 School Year - August 24, 2021

Picture Day - Wed. August 25th

Wednesday is school picture day. Order forms will be available for 48 hours after picture day and an email will be sent to parent emails with proof and order information.

We have several events going on this week, our kids would love to see you at these events. Check out our athletic web page to get all the info you need: https://madisonathletics.org/

Just a reminder that if your son/daughter/child is fully vaccinated they will not be considered a close contact of a positive case. If a student is not vaccinated they will follow the 10-day quarantine protocol. This is our corporation policy and as always could be updated or changed at any time if needed.

Many of our students have gotten off to a great start. If you find that your student has not please do not wait until the end of the 9 weeks to reach out and partner with the school. Teachers are doing study tables, extra help sessions, etc. Please have your child advocate for help, if needed.

Also, we understand the temperature is hot outside. Please understand we still have a dress code inside our building. If a teacher asks a student to cover themselves up and they refuse, they will be sent to the office. As of right now, we have not had a student sent to the office, but just being proactive on this announcement.

If you need to reach out to me feel free to email or call.

Have a great week!

FFA Student and Parent Meeting Scheduled

Aug 25 @ 3:30-5 p.m. for FFA STUDENTS

Parent meeting following at 5:30-6:30.

Mask Update and Quarantine

As of right now, masks are mandatory. When it comes to quarantine, If you are vaccinated and are a close contact you will not have to miss school. If you are unvaccinated, we will follow the same protocol as last school year. If you are considered a close contact and vaccinated you will have to show your vaccination card as proof to our nurse so that you do not have to be out of school for 10 days.

Masks, by federal law, must be worn on all busses all the time. This includes athletics and extra-curricular activities.

If you are in quarantine and do not have symptoms, the expectation will be for you to do whatever your teacher has designed for you. Every teacher will have a process for you to follow while quarantined. The key will be to have great communication with your teachers. If you are quarantined and have symptoms and cannot participate on a daily basis, please make sure you or your parents/guardians are communicating with your teachers.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
