Please join us for our PTO meeting on October 19th and meet the new PTO Officers. We will be discussing our budget and Trick or Treat Street.
Field Trip!
Our first field trip will be in October to Seventh Generation Farms. The AM session will go on Wednesday, Oct 26th and the PM session will go on Monday, Oct 31st. Please arrive at school at 8:30am and pick up your child from the school at 1:00pm. Please remember to pack a sack lunch. Students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume to the field trip and join us after the field trip for our Trick-Or-Treat Street.
Trick-Or-Treat-Street
We hope everyone is able to join us for our Trick-or-Treat Street. After arriving back from the field trip, families that are interested in participating will walk down the hallway and collect goodies from each classroom. Students will need to be accompanied by an adult to attend the event. Trick-or-Treat street will be from approximately 1:00-1:15. We need small donations to hand out during our Trick-or-Treat Street. Items can include candy, pencils, spider/bug rings, stickers, etc. Please bring donated items to the office by Friday, October 21st.
Donations Needed!!
We are in need of boy and girl’s socks and shoes. Accidents happen, and sometimes students need some new shoes while at school. If your child has outgrown their shoes or you have any extra at home, we would appreciate it if you would donate them to the ELC. Thank you!
Attendance Reminder
Although some absences are unavoidable, it is important that students attend school as often as possible. Preschool is a great time to start building a habit of good attendance. In addition, it is especially important during the month of October that we have excellent attendance. This is our “count” week and we need to be sure that all students are in attendance to ensure accurate reporting for our program.
