Mrs.Myers' Weekly Newsletter

September 19th - September 23rd

Notes from Mrs.Myers

Hello! Everyone survived our crazy week last week, and most everyone did it with great success! I loved getting to see how much everyone had learned from our big week of tests and finishing units- people studied hard and gave 110%! If there were mistakes made last week, not to worry! Tadashi! :D

  • Early Release is Wednesday and Thursday of next week! Students will be released at 12:30! :)
  • Please make sure that you have signed up for conferences! This is the last week! :)
  • There will be no weekly updates this week or next week due to conferences! I'll be meeting with each of you and preparing during this time. :)
  • I will be hosting a morning session on FRIDAY for students who need help with math (specifically division). If you would like your child to attend, please TEXT me no later than Thursday night at 8PM. We will be covering partial quotient division, and I will provide breakfast! Arrive at 7:10 and drop off in the bus lane, NOT the car rider lane! You do not need to be in my math class to attend- all students are welcome. :)
  • Our grant proposal for our bearded dragon was approved! We received word from the Pet Care Trust that they will be providing us with a pet and materials needed for its care! These materials should arrive in 3-4 weeks. :)

This week is not an easy week, but there is definitely less going into the grade book! Celebrate that fact and keep giving it your all! :)
