Creating a file:
Docs
Sheets
Creating a file is very simple, and should be somewhat familiar to you. Google has most of the same tools as the Microsoft Office Suite, however it is online at all times, assessable from any device and saves automatically with each edit or addition.

Sharing a file:
You may share the file with any using their email address or sending a link.
You can share a file using email addresses, or click 'Get shareable link' for more options.
You may select the sharing settings as:
'can view' - those with link can only see the file but not comment or make changes to the file
'can comment' - those with link can add comments, that only you can see but not make changes to the file
'can edit' - those with link can view, add comments and make changes to the file
Hope this helps!
