TechKnowledgy 2014 has BEGUN!

This year TechKnowledgy will be a year-long event. The first sessions ran at the beginning of November and focused on tools that are available for student learning and literacy. There were lots of free resources including iPad apps, Google functions and AIM-VA.

You can access the archived presentation and materials at under the Conference Program section. Future sessions will run in February (Math), April (Executive Functioning/ Organization), and September (TBA).

Google Search Tools

Did you know that you can define Google Searches by reading level? When performing a search, you and your students can select Search Tools and then click on the reading level that best fits. You can also use the microphone icon to perform voice searches. This is great for student's with learning differences or physical challenges that making typing difficult.

Communication Corner

Here is a great resource for iPad apps that target complex communication support needs (AAC).
