iPad & Laptop Storage Over the Summer - New Information
Students currently in grade 6 will be turning in their District-issued laptop towards the end of the school year, as new devices will be issued to them during an August handout for middle school. We will also be collecting iPads for grades K-2 prior to the end of school.
Students in grades 3-5 will keep their District-issued laptops at home over the summer. While students are allowed to use their devices at home over the summer, it is important that those devices are stored at home in a safe place where they are protected from damage, as the devices will return to school with students when school starts at the end of August.
We will communicate more information about the collection as we near the end of the school year.
Thank you for your support!

Medication Retrieval
Dear Parent/Guardian:
If your child currently has medication in the health office:
All medications and action plans for next school year will be sent home with your child on Thursday June 9. Please check your child’s backpack for the medication so it can be properly stored over the summer. Any controlled substances will need to be picked up & signed out by an adult (please arrange with the health office). Any controlled substances not picked up will be disposed of.
Please note that a new medication order is needed each school year. Please return the new forms and medication at the start of the new school year. Please be sure to check the expiration date on each medication to ensure it will last throughout the entire school year.
Please contact the health office if you want to pick up the medicine instead of sending it home with your child. Please call the health office with any questions or concerns.
We wish you and your family a healthy and safe summer.
Sincerely,
Tina Boyer, M.Ed., RN, CSN

Important Field Trip Health Information
A nurse will not be available to administer medications on field trips. Parents must package medications at home and deliver them in person directly to the child’s teacher in a sealed envelope. Please write on the envelope your child’s name, teacher, medication dosage and the time the medication needs to be given. Your child will be required to self-administer his/her medication under the supervision of the teacher.
