From the Principal Desk—
Hello Park Families!
I hope you had a restful weekend and are staying cool during this warm weather week we are having. It was nice to see many of you at the football game, fair and around the square! Students were excited to share their adventures from the long weekend with me. We are back in our routines with a focus this week on safety. Students participated in bus safety training led by our transportation department. Teachers and staff members also reviewed important school safety measures and behavior expectations, especially in the hallways, playground, restrooms and cafeteria.
I am looking forward to seeing you next week at our Parent Orientation Open House on September 13th. The format for the evening is 30 minute programs taking place in your child’s grade level classroom. If you are interested, I will be presenting a brief program on the new report card for parents of students in Grades 1 and 2. Please keep in mind that students do not need to attend orientation.
Thank you,
Jill Makee
