Chamber Cabaret - A HUGE SUCCESS

Thank you for supporting the Chamber choir at our Cabaret performances this week. We appreciate the support that you give our students. We hope you enjoyed their performances.

Thank you also for supporting our Booster Club as they raised money by selling concessions at Cabaret.

Camp Hope Service Project and Social

The choir was able to donate 73 boxes of cereal, 92 pounds of rice, 93 bags/boxes of pasta, and we wrote 74 letters to soldiers at Camp Hope. Thank you to NHS for giving to this cause as well.

We are so proud of our students for supporting our veterans.

Pre-UIL Concert

As our choirs prepare for our UIL evaluation in April, we will have our Pre-UIL concert on April 12. UIL is our yearly evaluation in which choirs perform three prepared pieces for judges. Students are then taken to another room where they are given a brand new piece of music that they must sight read together. Traditionally Klein High Choirs have done very well at this evaluation and we have no reason to believe that our students will do anything less than spectacular.

Since the UIL evaluation is during the school day, our Pre-UIL concert is an opportunity for our parents to hear our UIL songs before the evaluation.

Senior Scholarship Deadline

Our Booster Club provides the opportunity for seniors who are attending college next year to receive a scholarship. The scholarship information can be found in Schoology. The deadline for scholarship applications is Monday, April 18 at 11:59 pm.

Scholarship applications will be evaluated by outside music educators and winners will be announced at our Choir Banquet in May.
