March - Tech Tip

Here is a great resource that helps evaluate and select technology tools for the classroom. Too often, we read about a new resource or hear about one from a colleague, jot it down, and either 1) Forget about it or 2) Use up a lot of time downloading it and playing around to find out it's not a quality resource or relevant for our particular students. Often times our toolbox is overflowing and what we really need is to narrow it down.

Meet Graphite - a resource that will give back some TIME! Graphite is a free service from Common Sense Media. They make it a whole lot easier to find the best apps, games, websites, and digital curricula for the classroom. Visit Graphite and start searching. Filter the resources by subject, grade, skill level, or by Common Core standard. Get unbiased learning ratings and reviews by leading educational specialists and ratings for teachers by teachers, check out Top-Pick lists, and learn how teachers are using educational technologies in their classrooms.
