PCR Testing
As I am sure you are aware, we have made changes to our risk assessments due to the Omicorn variant. We do continue to ask that if your child has symptoms, including cold symptoms that are typical of the Delta variant that you do access a PCR test (needs to be booked online). Symptoms of the Omicron variant are reported as a cough, fatigue and a headache.
There is a mobile test centre that is in Ripon every Wednesday with results provided often in less than 24 hours.
Close Contacts
If you have a case of COVID in your immediate family, as close contacts, we do ask that you access a PCR test for your child. Please do not send your child back into school until the outcome is known, even if they are asymptomatic. If you are unsure about what you should do contact NHS 111 or do call school to discuss your situation.
Thank you for your understanding.
Stars of the Week
At our Celebration Worship every Friday, we really enjoy 'zooming' around the classes to hear about the fabulous work and effort of our stars of the week.
