ACADEMIC NEWS

Ninth-grade English

The ninth-grade English classes have recently completed their Romeo and Juliet unit. Students created "one-pagers" as a culminating activity. What is a one-pager? A one-pager is a single-page response to reading. It is a way of making patterns of unique understanding. Students can be creative and experimental. Students are able to respond imaginatively as they analyze the deeper meaning of texts. Here are just a few. Miss McDanell, Miss Meeson, and Mrs. Granger are so proud!
