Mrs. Goodrich
I cannot wait for the new school year to begin! I look forward to working with all my dyslexia and literacy students for another year! We will have fun and achieve higher reading skills, so that reading is more effective and fluent.
My husband, Phil and I live in Flower Mound. We are empty nesters. I have two sons. Nicholas is married and lives in The Colony. He and his wife, Katie, are very involved in their careers and their new house!
Nathan is an actor in Pennsylvania at Sight and Sound Theatre. He is very involved with his career, doing approximately 12 shows a week.
Our baby girl is our yellow lab dog named Grace!

What is dyslexia?
dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities. These difficulties typically result from a deficit in the phonological component of language that is often unexpected in relation to other cognitive abilities and the provision of effective classroom instruction. Secondary consequences may include problems in reading comprehension and reduced reading experience that can impede the growth of vocabulary and background knowledge.
