Origin of Cyber Seniors
The documentary idea Cyber Seniors was made by two 16 year old high school sisters during a school project. The two sisters showed their grandparents how to use basic technology skills and it dramatically impacted their grand parents life. Once the sisters were inspired by their epiphany they decided to make the Cyber- Seniors Program. The Cyber-Seniors Program eventually made a film with all of the footage the program collected.

There are many events held by promoters of cyber seniors some are hosted pretty far away but many are also done online. On the Cyber Seniors website there is a events that are held online. On the website the person hosting the event will make a time stamp and post the event with their Skype number. The events online can range from How to Start a new Community, Youth mentor training webinar, or a partner sharing webinar.
The Cyber-Senior organization gets fundraising through participant. They also have a shop on their website and they accept donations of equipment.

The Need
Goal of Cyber Seniors
The goal of cyber seniors is to promote the inter generational connections between younger and generally much more technology savvy teens with Seniors. This organizations (Cyber-Seniors) wants young mentors to make bonds and help bridge the technology gap. The end goal for the Cyber Seniors is to bring youth and seniors together to build stronger communities.
