Important Lunch Changes For the New School Year!!!

Please be aware that a new charge policy will be in place this year. Students will have a charge limit of $8.10, which is two days of breakfast and two days of lunch. After that, if the student comes through the line and has not brought payment, he/she will be given an alternate meal consisting of a cheese sandwich, carrot sticks, fruit, and milk. The parent will be notified at that time. We encourage students to put money in their accounts ahead of time to avoid the need to take an alternative lunch. Also, free/reduced meals are available for students that qualify. Please go online at cowetaschools.org under the nutrition department to apply.

Assistant Principal Announcement

Arnall Middle School would like to introduce Mr. Sean Parker as the new Assistant Principal. Here is some information from Mr. Parker.

I grew up as a military brat; meaning that my father was in the service (Army). Before finishing high school, I lived in three countries and seven states. Growing up, I felt it was unfair that I had to leave my friends every two years; but later, I learned to appreciate the opportunities I had to meet new people and their cultures. I spent my last year of high school at Douglas County before going to Columbus State to earn my degree in education where I met my wife, Jennifer. Jennifer teaches at Newnan Crossing. She’s constantly letting me know about all the wonderful students that she sent us. We have a son, Ellis. He’s nine and attends NCES. He wants to serve in the Army like his grandfather.

I taught in Coweta since 2003. I spent most of the time teaching Math at Evans Middle. But most recently, I taught high school math at the Central Educational Center. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with the family on the lake or in the woods. I enjoy hiking and set a lifetime goal to finish the Appalachian Trail.
