Oak Ridge High School's Weekly Newsletter

A Note from Dr. LiVecchi

I hope this newsletter finds you well. Thank you for your adherence to our safety and health policies at school. We are seeing a reduction in cases within our staff and within our students. While the levels are still higher than we would like, it seems that the spread is not happening at school which is positive.

It is hard to believe we are coming up on a year of COVID. I have never been in a situation more complex than this - and many of us have had to change our ways of living and doing things. While we have tried to keep things as normal as possible - we know things are not normal.

Our goal is to have an end of the school year that keeps students and teachers in the building and learning. Our goal is to have an in-person graduation where every War Eagle is recognized for their accomplishments this year.

Our goal is to continue to hire and attract the top teachers and talent to our school and to continue to foster a community of learning that is unmatched in Texas.

But first - we must keep working toward finishing this year as healthy as possible. Thanks for all your work to make that happen.
