Student Schedules Next Year
As we begin to gather the information necessary to make classroom placement decisions for the 2019-2020 school year for our current students, many factors are considered. From our students’ current teachers, we have information regarding learning style, achievement, effort, peer interactions, behavior, and any special needs for individual students. Our goal is to place all of our students in an environment where they will have the best possible learning experience.
While we know much about your children from our work with them at school, parents offer another perspective. Please refrain from requesting a specific teacher and instead provide additional information to be included in the profile for your child should you wish to. We ask that you please put your thoughts in writing and indicate specific strengths, concerns, and any other information that you feel is pertinent in the placement of your child in an email to the principal no later than May 1st. We begin working on our class lists shortly thereafter, so it is imperative that we receive your input by May 1st.
We look forward to working with you to ensure the most appropriate placement for your student. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your building principal.
