September 21 Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night Cancelled
We received communication from Chick-Fil-A Eastlake today that they need to cancel our spirit night that was scheduled for Thursday, September 21. They have another big event scheduled and do not have the staff to accommodate our spirit night. We will reschedule it and let you know the new date!
Drop Off and Pick Up in the New Building
Our car rider drop off and pick up will be in the front of the new building. Cars will enter and move through the parking lot in double lanes. Cars will travel through the parking lot and then around the lane before merging into one line to drop students off along the front of the building. We ask that parents stay in the line to drop off students vs parking and walking students across. In our current building, we have parents that park in the gravel lot and walk down to get their students as walkers. We will not have this parking lot in the new building. Families that are currently doing this will need to get a car rider number from the office and pick up their children using the car rider line. Blue line on the map below.
Walkers should only be those families who live too close to the school to receive bus service. Once we know how many families we have as walkers we will decide which door they will use to exit the building.
Transportation will be sending out new information about bus routes. Families that do not currently have bus service due to the close proximity in which they live to the school will now have bus service. Families that live within a certain proximity to the new building will no longer have bus service and will be considered walkers. Transportation will be communicating this information to families.
ASP will dismiss students in the bus lanes at the exit closest to the gym. Yellow star on the pic below.

Our Foundation is excited to partner with FunClubs to provide a simple and streamlined registration platform for our FAST enrichment clubs! On our FunClubs School Page, you can sign up for multiple enrichment classes, for more than one child at a time, all in one place with one profile and one payment method. You can also view important enrichment dates and after school procedures. Learn More About Enrichment Clubs at https://www.funclubs.com/schools/eastvalley-elementary
Cognia Parent Survey
The Cognia Student, Parent, and Staff Surveys are designed to collect data on student academic learning and wellness during the current school year. Participation in each survey is anonymous and voluntary, and participation is highly encouraged. The survey results will provide Cognia Accrediting Agency, Cobb County School District, and local schools with data regarding student learning environment, staff input, and parent feedback to support continuous learning.”

Eastvalley Foundation Education Enrichment Campaign
Every year, the Eastvalley Elementary School Foundation asks our community of families to give in support of their children's educational experiences. We make this ask because without your financial support, there's not enough budget money to cover crucial resources like supplemental reading curriculum, classroom supplies, software licenses, and STEM Lab materials.
Please make a donation today. Our Eastvalley students deserve every opportunity to learn and grow, and 100% of your donation stays at the school and is invested into their education.
This year we have a big goal, but together we can make a big difference. Thank you!
