FACS at the Fairs
Intro to Spring 2018 Career Center Internship & Career Fairs
Did You Know?
58% of 2016 UGA graduates who went on to work full-time after graduation obtained their position before they graduated (UGA Career Outcomes Data, 2016). Many of these students are getting connected with these opportunities through on-campus recruiting events, including career fairs.
The average full-time offer rate to interns for organizations surveyed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is 67.1% (NACE, 2017). This is the primary way many employers prefer to source entry-level talent.
Nearly 65% of employers surveyed prefer to hire students with relevant work experience and more than half of those employers prefer that that experience come in the form of an internship or co-op (NACE, 2017).
