Hello, Thomas Families!

Building News

Awesome Citizens

Thomas Tigers are being noticed for their tremendous citizenship! Everyday, staff look for students exhibiting sensational citizenship traits. Students are given tickets which are put into a weekly drawing per grade level. Check out the pictures of our awesome citizens!

Character Strong

Thomas students will study the character trait RESPONSIBILITY during the month of May. Responsibility means to take action and understand how our choices affect others and the world.

Here are a few conversation starters:

· You really want a new game, but you need a new pair of shoes. How do you decide between wants and needs so that you can spend your money responsibly? Talk about wants and needs in your life and how you’ve learned to tell the difference!

· What are the responsibilities you have at home? How do people know what they are responsible for? Which responsibilities are you really good at?

Families are welcome to visit https://characterstrong.com/ to check out this site. There are free resources including podcasts and weekly strategies to positively impact your daily life:-)
