For Your Information and Action
Hall Passes: After discussing the hall passes in last week's program leader meeting, it was decided that we will continue to use the pink hall pass cards that students were given in the beginning of the year. Students should continue to use their cards to leave the classroom for drinks, bathrooms, and trips to guidance/main office/other classrooms. Teachers can decide whether or not they want to use sign in/out sheets in the classroom.
Hampshire Games:
- Our Q1 Advisory Celebration was a success! We had 180 students in the gym playing games and jousting, while 45 seniors were able to take advantage of their senior privileges for much of the morning.
- For quarter 2, certain advisory agendas will remind you to email John for advisory points if your students participate in that day's activity. In addition, though, you are welcome to request points for special activities that your advisory decides to do on their own. Last quarter we had a few people request points for doing teambuilding activities or doing competitions against other advisories. Email John or Lauren with any questions!
- Advisory this week will be lessons adapted from Teaching Tolerance around social justice and human rights issues. Each day will be a different activity/discussion on these topics.
