Thoughts ...

A week or so ago, a students asked about the parking permit application. She asked if she completed the texting while driving online course last year, must she complete it this year. I responded until everyone drives without texting, we will require it each year. I did not mean to be sarcastic. My quick response was based on what I have observed while driving around town. People, regardless of age, continue to drive distracted by their cell phones. I share with you the newest AT&T commercial. You might have seen it on TV. This is the extended version of Close to Home. Click HERE to view.

According to our partners of the Yeah, You're That Distracting campaign, Distracted Driving is three times more dangerous than driving under the influence of alcohol. It is not just about the driver, it's about the caller or texter.
