Zoom Live Lesson Form
We know you have started live lessons and we are excited to see all the amazing things you are doing. Use this hyperlink to access the document PS Live & Recorded Lessons. Log your live lesson(s) schedule. We know many of you store recorded lessons in different areas of your individual or grade level folders. Share where you store your recorded lessons. There is a tab for each HR teacher and additional tabs for ESOL, EIP, IRR, and Specialists.
The document has an “example” tab.
Example 1: If you teach the same subject the same day or days using a recurring Zoom link.
Example 2: If you teach subjects on the same day OR different day using a new Zoom link every time.
Example 3: Ms. Vogt completed her tab for this week.
The document allows administration and coaches one stop access to everyone’s lessons. We will add the link to Mac’s Memo so you may update the document as your lessons progress or as links change. Do not hesitate to ask any questions.
Assistant Principals' Corner
(K-8) Guidelines from the District: (sent to families)
Teachers will determine the average of the first three grading periods for each student – this “base average” will be used as the standard for whether any work completed during the school closure will help or hurt a given student. Scores on assignments during distance learning should not be entered if they fall below the given student’s “base average”. Traditional progress reports for “Quarter 4” would normally be visible in Aspen by April 30; this report will not be generated given our sensitivity to our students’ access to technology and the flexibility we want to provide in completing assignments. You can still, however, see your student's current progress/grade in Aspen at any time by logging into Aspen and clicking on the “Academics” tab, located on the left side. As students and families have specific questions about assignments and grades, please contact your child’s teacher.
Teachers please be reminded that you are continuing to collect grades for Q4. The minimum expectation is:
- 2 Reading/Writing grades and 1 Math grade per week. That grade can be any grade they want to pull (the district did not specify so you could use discussion board comment, writing assignment, etc.)
- Science and SS should be one culminating project grade for the quarter
- There will be an option in Aspen to mark "inc" in the event the student doesn't complete an assignment.
Typically you would complete a final F/P assessment and enter this information into Aspen. This year, please add information from your most recent F/P assessment for Quarter 4. Quarter 4 includes Accuracy and Comprehension. If you don't have all of this information, please add what you have.
Student supplies pick up
Building will no longer be accessible after MAY 1ST
Please be sure to take any items of personal value home. Also, if you are concerned about fragile items being broken, please take these home as well.
Any items that are boxed will be moved out prior to demo and you will NOT have access to them until we move into our new building.
We want to be realistic about what you need, but please remember if you did NOT use it this year, it needs to either go home or be thrown away. Storage space is limited in the new building and I don't want you to have to do double work on the back end of throwing away excess things that won't fit in your classrooms.

Skaggs, thank you for all your help with packing up my room. I would not be this far along without you! Thank you, thank you!
2. Stephanie Sims
Sims, thank you for all your time and energy with helping me pack. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our kiddos. I appreciate all the time you have spent with me zooming, texting, calling and taking care of what we need to do for our kiddos' online learning!
