Broken Arrow Weekly Update
Looking Forward to the Week of January 31-February 3
Message from Mrs. Green
This week our students participated in Eagle Nests to share all they know about perseverance and were also able to make some perseverance posters with their Eagle Nest buddies! I can't wait to display them all over the building! First graders in Mrs. Bruening's class also ended their week with ice cream sundaes! They earned the most golden tickets in the lunchroom from Fall Break to Winter Break and chose ice cream as a prize!
This week we also said our goodbyes and gave well wishes to Mrs. Epperson as she made her transition to the HR office at the ESC. We are so sad to lose her expertise and care at Broken Arrow but are so excited for her new opportunity. In our music classroom, we will have Amanda Bryson as a long term substitute until we are able to find a replacement music teacher. Ms. Bryson has been a long standing substitute with Morgan Hunter and has also completed long term substitute positions in the past. We are excited to welcome her. Please let me know if you have any questions about this transition.
Monday is THE BIG DAY!! It will be the first day of our new dismissal procedure. Please read the information below to make sure you feel informed and ready to go for Monday afternoon. We had some painting done today to help with the new changes as well. Check out the pictures below to see the LOADING ZONES and LANE and the SLOW PASSING LANE. I appreciate your patience and grace as we make this transition to ensure the safety of all students.

However, if your child is established with a primary dentist outside of the Healthy Futures program or Heartland Community Health Center they encourage you to stick with them so that there are not double services being provided.
We are focused on PERSEVERANCE for the whole month of January. Please check out the resources below for specific activities to complete or discuss with your student(s) at home!
Congratulations to our Perseverance Eagles of the Week!
