The Bones Bulletin

March 2023

A note from Mr. Raygosa....

March Madness is here! That usually refers to the basketball tournament, but at school it means spring break is near. Last month I wrote about the importance of not losing momentum. We have set the bar high for our JH students and expect them to give it their all when they are at school. We welcome the partnership with parents to getting the quality education for your children. I want to remind parents that when students arrive on campus, until 8:45am, they have the opportunity to work in the classroom to catch up on any work that is needed or they can accelerate by practicing math and reading. Please encourage your children to do their best, and you can always reach out to the teacher to get information on how you can help at home.

Parent Portal should be used to keep tabs on student progress. We are using High Quality Instructional Materials in our Math and English classes, as well as, striving for engagement and high rigor in all of our classes. If you have any questions about these materials or classes, please reach out to our teachers.

Please make sure your children do not miss school unless absolutely necessary. Also, please have them come prepared with a fully charged Chromebook and the necessary school supplies.

Please join our Remind messaging, Facebook, and Twitter pages to keep up with the JH events.
