Desription of the body
The average size of a male white sided dolphin is about 270 cm and 230 kg. A female white sided dolphin are about 20 cm shorter and 50 kg lighter then the males. The color of the white sided dolphin are black or very dark grey back and dorsal fin with a narrow bright white patch on the side that extends back from below the dorsal fin. That is overlayed with a yellow blaze above a thin dark stripe running towards the flukes. The belly and lower jaw are white, the side of the body is a light grey.
