Container Homes Final
By Mathew Garlitz
This sketch was my first draft of my container home.
Bubble sketches an scaled drawings
The bubble drawing is the second draft in my container home and it basically just lays the foundation down for the rest of the project. The scaled drawings were the bubbled drawings, just scaled down into feet so we can start working online.
Begining Sketch-up models
This was the first online model I did with the scaled drawings I made.
These were the scaled drawings of the home converted into Auto-Cad.
In this photo, the house comes with double front doors, and a two car garage.
Also, the home comes with a office and lots of windows for natural light.
This house comes with a two-car garage, and three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
The home comes with a massive kitchen, with plenty of counter space.
Furthermore, the house comes with a species living room, with an open floor plan.
The home comes with a big master bedroom which includes lots of walking around room.
Finally, the house includes a large master bathroom, with a duel-sink counter top.
For my container home, I would like to be located in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. The area is booming with thousands of families moving here every month. I feel like the this area would be the best for my home. Overall, I enjoyed having the freedom to create whatever we wanted. Far to many times in school students are restricted to the teachers guidelines and rules. This project was the opposite and that's why I liked it so much. I probably could have added more detail in the house all together, but I felt like I did well at the house design in general.
