What is Bullying

Bullying is when a person or group repeatedly tries to harm someone who is weaker or who they think is weaker. Sometimes it involves direct attacks such as hitting, name calling, teasing or taunting.

What are the effects of Bullying?

Kids that get bullied feel as if they are inferior and they don't belong with other people. They wil become secluded and solitary. Sometimes the bullting gets out of hand andeven encourages the victim to things they would never glance at. For example, kids that are bullied have a higher chance to use drugs and alcohol. Even suicide comes into the minds of the bullied.

Bullying in the World

Bullying is not only a problem in the United States it occurs in almost all countries around the world. Stopping bullying is really important because it won't devalue peoples' lives. When kids are bullied they will grow up thinking they are inferior. Some times those kids will grow up and will find a person that is smaller or they think is smaller and will bully him or her.
