ICMS
What's Happening This Month:
We also enjoy some family time for Thanksgiving and focus on all we are thankful for at ICMS. I don't know what you remember about your middle school experience, but what I witness firsthand in our hallways and classrooms daily is incredible. The lesson plans, extra-curricular opportunities and time spent caring for students at ICMS are among the greatest blessings for our students.
The first quarter of the school year has been completed and we are chipping away at the 2nd nine weeks. Our students have been reading more than ever - check out the statistics below:
Total Words Read by Grade Level
6th Grade: 10,996,936
7th Grade: 11,393,294
8th Grade: 880,431
KEEP IT UP!
Reminders from the Office
- Students should always have a water bottle for school.
- Please remind your child to charge their device each night. Replacement chargers cost $24.99 - please see Mrs. Madison in the office if you need one.
- The ICMS parking lot is NOT a pickup or drop off location before and after school. This is a safety concern. Please use the ICHS lot and follow the flow of traffic.

Thoughts from Mr. Appleton’s students
When asked about math class…..
A fun class time where students learn something new everyday. It is a lot of fun and learning.
This class is amazing because you learn new things every single day. Mr. Appleton is a great teacher to relate with.
You learn so much each day he makes it look so easy and so fun.
Everyday we come into class and do something new each day. Mr. Appleton is a great teacher he always is full of jokes and is fun to learn with.
You learn a lot in this class Mr. Appleton makes the questions each day a little bit harder and Mr. Appleton is a fun person to joke around with.
In Mr.Appleton’s class, he likes to tell jokes and goof around to get us to like math and so far it’s working. I think Mr. Appleton is the best teacher, but that is my opinion.
Every day we come into Mr. Appleton’s class and learn something new, but it is not just math, it’s real life skills that we need to know throughout our life.
This class is challenging, but it makes me feel good to accomplish things I didn't know were possible.
I have to work harder in this class than any other class. I enjoy math class more than any other class.
