Important Reminders/Save the Date:
June 13th: Field Day- rescheduled date
June 15th: Art Show from 5-6:30 pm in the gym. All families welcome.
June 21st: Walk 4 WES- rescheduled date
June 21st: Last day of Preschool
June 21st: 6th grade graduation party will take place from 5:00-7:00 pm in the gym
June 22nd: 6th grade graduation at 1:00 pm
June 22nd and 23rd: Half days for the students with 11:50 am dismissal
June 23rd: Last day of school, dismissal at 11:50 am for students
Looking for Assistance
Dear WES Families-
It's hard to believe that the end of the school year is almost upon us, but given that summer is just around the corner, I'm writing to ask your help in recognizing the efforts of the WES teachers and staff as they continued to support our children amid another unusual year.
On June 21st, all teachers and staff will get together for an end of year reception to spend some time together before they enjoy their well-deserved summer break. I am coordinating with Principal Cindy Sheehy to help support the staff and so they can feel the gratitude of the WES community. If you would like to contribute towards the reception, I'll be collecting donations through 3:30 on June 20th. You can either:
1. Venmo me @Amanda-Bayliss-2. Please include WES in the "What's it for?" line.
2. Drop off or mail an envelope to my attention at the main office.
The collection is optional, of course. Whether you are able to contribute or not, the reception for teachers and staff will be a gift from all WES children and families.

Kindergarten Registration
- Kindergarten screenings were conducted throughout the week by our Kindergarten teachers. If you haven't turned in Kindergarten paperwork yet, please use the link below to complete a registration packet or you can stop by the office to pick up a hard copy. - Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity is holding a raffle for a garden shed. You can find more info on the raffle here.
- DEIB-PCAN End of Year BBQ
- The Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Parent Caregiver Action Network warmly invites families to join an end of year BBQ, honoring Juneteenth. To be held June 19, 2-5PM Williams Inn lawn. Everyone welcome! Details in flyer and on the webpage www.deibpcan.org.
- Girls Basketball Summer Clinic
- Pat Manning, the head coach for women's basketball at Williams College, is holding a week long summer camp day camp for girls ages 6-15 that runs from July 31st - Aug 4th at Chandler Gym on the Williams College Campus. Please click here for more information.
- Bonnie Lea Farm's Summer Riding Program
- HORSES: Learn to ride or improve your equitation under USHJA Certified Trainer and Williams Equestrian Coach, Lisa DeMayo.
- Summer Science Lab 2023
- Williams College is hosting Summer Science Lab for current 4th, 5th, and 6th graders this summer. This week-long hands-on science experimentation runs the week of July 10-14, 2023 and July 17-21, 2023 from 9:00-3:00. Scholarships are available.

- This excellent hands-on science camp run by Chemistry faculty, Chip Lovett and Dave Richardson, at Williams College uses the fully equipped Chemistry Labs at Williams and the help of Williams students and two Berkshire County middle school teachers – Tim Herrmann and Stephen Bechtel. Join us for chemical mystery exploration and experimentation!
