Antley Folders Coming Home
We finished Chapter 3: Compute with Multi-Digit Numbers on Thursday. Graded chapter tests were returned today in each child’s Antley Folder. Please sign the test as well as the assessment sheet insert stapled to the folder and return all via your student by the following school day. I will then file each student’s folder and will have on hand should we need to review during the school term.
Checking Account Project ~ Due October 15
The checklist with point values is on the left. In addition, students have a pink copy of the checklist along with the project. The students received the project on Wednesday, September 17th and have 4 weeks to complete the project. It is due on Wednesday, October 15th. Parent, please look over the project once your child is finished before they turn it in to me. It does count as a test grade.
Online Textbook
Our textbook is available online. The website is: http://connectED.mcgraw-hill.com. Each student has a unique username and the password is eagles6. I have asked the students to write down the website address, along with their username and password in the front of their agendas. In addition to the textbook pages, the site offers self-check quizzes, chapter tests, extra practice worksheets for each lesson, video tutorials, and virtual manipulatives. The site is also listed on my webpage under ‘Online Math Textbook’ on the left column.
