Santiago Charter Newsletter
Friday Newsletter: September 15, 2023
Hello Santiago Families:
It's hard to believe that we are already a month into the school year-time is flying by, and we're thrilled to see our students learning and thriving! We look forward to the continued growth and achievements of our students in the months ahead.
No Fuss Fundraiser 23-24: We're excited to introduce our 23-24 No Fuss Fundraiser. We only host one fundraiser a year, so this is a great opportunity for our school community to come together and support our students. Scroll below for more details on how you can contribute and make a difference in the year ahead.
Pick up/Drop off: Please remember to keep to the right when entering our campus as we reserve the middle lane for buses and staff to access the school without waiting in the parent drop off line. You can avoid the drop off line all together by dropping your child off on Rancho Santiago Blvd.
Attendance/Tardiness: Your cooperation in maintaining punctuality is greatly appreciated. Please ensure your students arrive at school on time to help reduce tardiness. School starts at 8am, but our campus opens at 7:15am. We encourage our students to come early, grab breakfast and hang out in the amphitheater. If your child is late, please send them with a note. Unexcused tardies add up and result in a detention.
Student IDs: Just a reminder that students should be wearing their IDs while on campus, as this helps us maintain a safe environment. For more information, scroll below to Santana Expectations.
Nutrition Services: Breakfast, nutrition and lunch are free. Our cafeteria opens for students Monday-Friday at 7:15am.
