Did you know immunizations are among the most effective ways to protect against vaccine-preventable diseases? Sanford Health is hosting an upcoming event that will include an opportunity to vaccinate yourself and your children against influenza.
We want to help vaccinate you and your families with one quick and easy stop during conferences on November 17th from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. in the elementary school library and November 21st from 3:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Med Careers Classroom at the MSHS. We will be vaccinating anyone aged six months and older.
Insurance will be billed if you have it; otherwise, if you do not have insurance, the cost will be $76.00 per vaccine. If you are 18 and younger without insurance, you may receive assistance to help cover the cost of the injection and pay a small fee of $19.68.
Please bring insurance information/cards with you, as we will take a picture of the card.
For more information on the immunization, call Jessica Matt at the Windom Area Schools Health Office at 507-831-6910 ext 122 or email at jmatt@isd177.com

Mental Health Parent Resources Survey - 5 min
The health office team is participating in a study to help us learn about areas within the health office in which we thrive and areas we can improve upon. The study includes a needs assessment with information gathered from parents. This survey is anonymous and will take about 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback is very valuable to us and will be used to inform the overall plan for school health office (nurse's office) needs.
