Personal Devices
Desktops
Desktops, are every day computers that can be found in places like offices, homes schools, and many more. Desktops aren't portable, and are stationary.
Laptops
A laptop carries out the same function as a computer, but is designed to be light and portable.
Notebooks
Notebooks are laptops, but are even more compact
Netbook
Netbook are similar to notebook but designed to be used for wireless communication. Usually cheaper, and a lower specification.
PDA
(personal digital assistant), and they are designed to be small enough to be held in the palm of your hand, usually contains an: address book, not making features, a telephone, and the internet.

A input is a device you can put into your computer to complete a command like typing with a computer

Keyboard

Outputs
A output is a device that comes from your computer, and connects with another device to complete a command
Examples:
Flash drive
speaker
monitor
games controller

An optical storage is date storage, and is a term used in engineering. The data is recorded by making patterns that are read by types of lasers of light, like light laser

Magnetic storage is a term used in engineering, which is meaning the storage of data on a magnetized medium
