He was an African american educator, and he was an advisor for the president. born: April 5th 1856. Died: November 14th, 1915. He founded Tuskegee university. He was educated at Wayland Siminary, Hampton university.


He founded the Tuskegee Univeristy there are many books about him. He was the first African american to go to the white house.

Fun facts

When Booker first went to school the teacher asked what his name was all he said was Booker. on the second day when the teacher asked he said Booker t Washington, Booker came up with his own last name.
