Heliocentric Theory
One of Nicolaus Copernicus's many contributions to this world was, the heliocentric theory. The theory states that, the earth and other planets revovle around the sun. He secretly worked on his theory without mentioning it to anyone, since it went against the bible and he was a religious leader. His motivation derived from two factors; one he believed that the sun was a more divine figure than the earth to be the center of the solar system and secondly, that the previous theories didn't really analyze the concept behind the circles. Through all his hard work,he was able to create a masterpiece that is highly used today.
