In December classes will exchange holiday cards sharing student wishes for a better world in 2015 and an actions they will take to make those wishes come true. In January, participating classrooms will schedule calls to meet their partners face to face through Skype.

*Practice speaking and listening skills with audiences of different perspectives
*Empower students to affect positive change in the world

Who Is Invited

K-12 Life Skills, Mainstream, Special Education, and Regular Education classrooms from around the world

Classrooms will be partnered up for 1:1 exchange. We will do our best to connect students from different backgrounds when possible. During the month of December, each class creates handmade bright and festive holiday greeting cards for the partner classroom (It is important that every student in your partner class receive a personalized card). Students may send New Years, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali greeting cards or cards that show local celebrations during December or January. Inside the cards, students will write their wishes for a better world in 2015 and an action they will take to try and make those wishes come true. Classes should mail cards to partners no later than December 22, 2015. Partner Classrooms will Skype with each other in January once the cards have arrived. During these meetings you can have students share their wishes with each other, play a Mystery Skype style game (like Mystery Number or Mystery Animal), have a Q&A session about each others locations, or any other exchange that you think will help students get to know each other better.
