Solar nebula Theory
What is the solar nebula theory and what does it state?
It is the most widely accepted way of explaining the evolution of our solar system. It states that stars form in dense clouds, these clouds are gravitationally unstable. when these clouds collapse it forms a star. This process can give birth to planets under the correct circumstances.
who developed The solar nebula theory? When was it developed?
A swedish philosopher named Emanuel proposed that planets for out of a nebular crust that has surrounded the sun and since it has begun has broken apart. He proposed this in 1735
A German Philosopher named Immanuel Kant proposed that a nebula in slow rotation gradually pulled together by its own gravity and flattened into a spinning disk giving birth to our planets. He proposed this in 1775.
