Attendance Reminder

This is a reminder that students are expected to attend school every day. Our first bell rings at 8:35 a.m. The school day starts promptly at 8:45 a.m. If your student is not sitting at their seat, ready for the day at that time, they will be marked tardy. If your student will not be at school, please contact the main office prior to 9:00 a.m. to properly excuse the absence.


All pre-arranged absences should be reported to the main office by phone call, (715) 345-5418, or email (spionek@pointschools.net).

Spring Appropriate Apparel Information

As we are approaching spring, our weather brings some uncertainty which brings questions. Mornings can be cloudy and cold then afternoons can be sunny, but windy. This creates things like mud, puddles, and icy patches. We would like to remind students that full winter gear is still necessary and appropriate apparel for both morning and afternoon recesses are expected as once a student is outside, they are not allowed back into the building till the whistle is blown.


Here are the expectations we must stick to:

  1. 40 Degrees or less requires a winter jacket
  2. Feels like temperature between 40-50 requires a long sleeve
  3. Students are not allowed back into the building to get winter gear OR to go to the bathroom. However, we are reasonable with our K-2 students.
  4. Respect snow rules
  5. If a student does not have boots or snow pants, they must remain on the blacktop. (now more than ever!)

This event is with our 5/6 graders at PJ Jacobs Junior High in the gymnasium. Families can enter through the glass doors off of the main parking lot. PLEASE NOTE: 5/6 graders should arrive at PJ's at 6:45pm for group tuning and warm-ups!

Registration for Summer School 2022 courses will be available ONLINE beginning at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 and will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Gesell preschool is under district supervision and serves 3-year-old students at the Gesell Institute on the UWSP campus. This program is tuition-based, but for $600 per year, it is an unbelievable value for families. For this program, families are required to self-transport. Click Here for more details!
