Cause of the War of 1812
There were many causes of the War of 1812 but the most important causes were impressment of American sailors by the British navy, trade restrictions the British gave America to make sure they stopped trading with France, and the British militaries support of Native American resistance against the American states
Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson was the American War hero at the battle of New Orleans. He had his soldiers hide behind cotton bales to avoid fire. The winner was the Americans and in 1829 became the president of the United States and soon began the Reign of Jackson
