NEW CLUBS COMING TO BLE
WHAT HAS STUDENT LEADERSHIP BEEN UP TO?
Our focus this month is spreading kindness in our school
"How can we, as BLE leaders, promote kindness in our school? Since the meeting where we introduced the idea of rallying the whole school to be do more acts of kindness, members of the Student Leadership team have come up with many ideas to promote kindness. Some include decorating the custodians door, a "kindness" sensory circuit, hiding bookmarks in library books that offer kind words for the unexpected reader and decorating the mirrors in the girls bathrooms with encouraging quotes.
Leadership is working on ways to promote kindness
Door decor to thank our custodial staff for all their hard work .
Raela is working on our Student Leadership bulletin board that will promote kindness.
Kindergartner's working together with Leadership to create kindness door decor.
THE DAWG HOUSE IS OPEN EVERY MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY MORNING(SCHOOL STORE)
*****MARCH IS READING MONTH*****
March is reading month, so get excited! Our books are based on a mystery theme this year. We
have chosen two great books to enjoy. The amazing K-2nd grade students will enjoy The Trouble With Chickens by Doreen Cronin. Our awesome 3rd -5th graders will be reading Crime Biter! My Dog is Better Than Your Dog by Tommy Greenwald. There will be a reading calendar sent home with your child to help them enjoy reading during March. We hope you enjoy reading month and the fun you can have getting lost in a book together!
J.J. Tully is a former search-and rescue dog who is trying to enjoy his retirement after years of performing daring missions saving lives. So he’s not terribly impressed when two chicks named Dirt and Sugar (who look like popcorn on legs) and their chicken mom show up demanding his help to track down their missing siblings
THANK YOU TO OUR PTA FOR THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY
