A Note from Mrs. Zellner and Mr. West
We ended up raising over $60,000 for Maple Dale! Thank you so much to everyone for their continued support of Maple Dale. The kids and staff enjoyed a beautiful day today with our Amazing Race fun run! A BIG thank you to Sarah Donaworth and our amazing PTO for organizing this fun and successful fundraiser!
On a more serious note, the office has recently received several parent concerns that some students on bikes are riding in between cars on the road and it can be challenging to see students on bikes with the glare of the sun. Any student walking or riding their bikes to school must stay on the sidewalks and cross at the designated crosswalks for their safety. Additionally, please note that it is part of our student handbook that bike riders and walkers need to be accompanied by an adult at the elementary schools.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The theme this month is thankfulness.
Thankfulness
Often, we focus on what we don’t have and forget to take stock of what we do have. If you
focus on what you don’t have, something will always be missing. It’s important to be thankful
for what you have and not take those things for granted. Some of the most successful people
are generally the most thankful.
A Letter From Child Nutrition & Wellness
Summer - Pandemic EBT There is a new window that the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services is opening on November 1st, 2022 to submit any families that did NOT get their PBET benefits for the summer. This would be for any family that qualified for free or reduced price lunch last school year and had an active sycamore student (this does not include preschool). IF you believe you should have qualified and did not receive these benefits please email Kelsey Warren - warrenk@sycamoreschools.org. Provide student names and ID#s in the email.
More information on what pandemic EBT is can be found here.
