The Osceola Science Charter School Parent Volunteer Organization is pleased to announce the return of our Holiday Market… a special “pop-up” store for children to do their own Holiday Shopping! The "store" will be open Monday December 17 - Friday December 21st.
Items range from $.25 to $10.00 so there is something for everyone!
Students received a flyer to help create a budget and list of gift recipients with your child.

As the holidays are approaching, it is time to prepare our annual gift bags for our Osceola Science teachers and staff members!
Help us show our teachers and staff members how much we appreciate them by donating gift cards or by making a monetary donation, so that we can purchase gift cards for them. Popular gift cards are Target, Barnes & Noble, Publix, and Amazon.
Gift card donations may be dropped off at the front desk and monetary donations may be provided using the SCHOOLPAY link below.

In celebration of a successful Toy Drive, we will be hosting our very first annual Jingle Bell Jog! Thank you for your generosity!
OSCS First Annual Jingle Bell Jog
Next Friday, December 21st, we will be having our first annual Jingle Bell Jog. This event will take place during regular school hours, and is a one mile race for students grades 2-5,teachers and staff. Students in grade K-1 will have the chance to participate in a half mile jog. Students and staff are encourage to come dressed with anything associated with the festive winter holidays… Jingle Bells, Santa, Mistletoe, Reindeer, Elves, etc.! Check out next week's newsletter for pictures from this fun event!
Families, we welcome your help at the most hectic times of the day, dismissal. Having plenty of volunteers ensures that we have a safe and swift transition time. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up using the link below.

Smile Mile is coming up! This event consists of a one mile children’s race open to children between the ages of five and eleven. This event is for students grades K-5. There is also a Fun Run for anyone under the age of 5! Younger participants may sign up under our school if they would like a t-shirt since the Fun Run is free, and only includes the finisher ribbon.

Adventures in Reading (K-2) with Ms. Zayas
Students in Adventures in Reading Club have the opportunity to read different literature and have discussions about the texts. Students read the literature through various activities including: reading on the computers, reading with books, listening to a story, or playing a reading game. Occasionally, students even watch a book-to-movie adaption or they are given paper books Reading A to Z books to take home.
