Monday, January 17, is a celebration of Dr. King's immeasurable contribution to the United States, and to humankind. All San Marcos CISD offices and campuses will be closed.
No More Mr. Nice Pie
The 5th grade Knights were rewarded with a pie party on Friday, January 14. Students had a choice between 4 different flavors of pie and extra outdoor recess. However, the real treat was when students got the opportunity to pie their favorite SMCISD staff!
20 Years and Counting
SMCISD's Child Development Center is honored to achieve 4 Star Accreditation through the Texas Workforce Solutions Child Care Services. SMCISD CDC has maintained this certification for 20 years (since 2002). Thank you to every SMCISD CDC employees for your continuous hard work.
The Road to STATE Starts Here
SMHS Diamond Line does not waste time. Director Knight and her performers have officially begun practices for this year's State competition.

Middle School Night
On Friday, January 14, the SMHS Basketball program honored the Goodnight and Miller Middle School Basketball programs at halftime during their game versus Austin Akins. Also during halftime, the Goodnight and Miller coaches went head to head in a 3-point competition to bring back an annual district tradition.
