Celebrating Black and African American History Month: Glendale Unified Presents Special Webinar Speaker Series
In honor of Black and African American History Month, every Wednesday in February Glendale Unified School District will host a special webinar series featuring Black and African American leaders who serve their communities in wonderful and different ways. The theme for Black History Month 2021 is The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity. We encourage all students to participate in these webinars to learn more and celebrate Black and African American History.
Early College Academy Information Sessions
Join us for an upcoming student and parent/guardian information session to learn more about Hoover Early College Academy. Deadline to apply for the Early College Academy is March 12!
ECA courses are taught by GCC professors and held at Hoover High School during the school day (all courses are currently taught via distance learning). The program is open to all GUSD students. Students wishing to enroll in the ECA whose resident school is not Hoover must obtain an intra-district permit and transfer to Hoover.
Application Deadline for Glendale Unified Magnet Schools and Dual Immersion Programs is this Sunday January 31!
Applications for our magnet elementary and middle schools, and Foreign Language Academies of Glendale (FLAG) dual immersion programs are available at gusdmagnetandflag.com.
FLAG and Magnet programs are open to all students, even those that live outside Glendale Unified School District boundaries. Learn more:

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) Meeting February 4
