From the Desk of Mrs. Rounds

It is hard to believe, but in four more wake ups we will begin the new school year! We are super excited for the changes we have in place and even more excited to have our halls filled with kids again.

As always, thank you for entrusting Bridge with your children's education.

See you Wednesday!

First Day Drop Off & Breakfast Schedule

Drop off on the first day is 8:00 - 9:00. This will allow parents time to snap some pictures and walk students to class if they choose.

Breakfast is served 8:00 - 8:30 on the first day of school. The remainder of the year breakfast is served 7:45 - 8:15.

BASE - After School Program

School is dismissed at 1:30 pm.

FREE Meals and Home Lunch Program

We are SUPER excited to offer FREE breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack this school year! Dinner is served to all students who attend our BASE, after school program. Breakfast is served 7:45 - 8:15 each morning (except the first day of school when it is served 8:00 - 8:30 am).

Home Lunch Program - students who bring home lunch can choose fruit, veggie and milk for FREE to supplement their home lunch (they must take all three items).

Snack - Bridge has received a grant to provide a fresh fruit/vegetable snack each day for students. This program is designed to help students learn to make healthy, nutritional food choices and also to provide students with access to foods that may be new to them. Snack will be served beginning the second week of school and will be served Monday - Thursday.

FREE / REDUCED Meals Application

Although meals are currently free, it is imperative that parents apply for FREE / REDUCED status. This is done through ASPIRE - simply login and complete the application using the link on the right side of the window.

FREE / REDUCED status provides the school with extra funding to help support our Title I at-risk program which includes morning supervision and BASE as well as intervention support for struggling students. This past year it also provided additional assistance for some students in the form of an electronic debit card. It also ensures that if we are no longer able to offer free meals, parents are already qualified for free/reduced status.

Instructions for accessing ASPIRE can be found on our website or by calling the office (801)499-5180.
