LHS Update

July 23, 2020

Lathrop Families,

I hope you are well and finding opportunities to enjoy our state this summer. As our district and our state continue to work through the many issues around Covid-19 and school, we are moving forward with plans based on what we know now.

The district has lined up some choices for each family.

Option 1: In-school with blended learning

  • Students attend 2-3 days/week and do additional learning from home on other days.
  • All students issued a Chromebook
  • Transportation available.
  • If we go into high risk we shift to remote learning with continuity of instruction from same teachers.

Option 2: E-learning

Remain a Lathrop student but do all learning from home. If you are interested in this option, information can be found here as well as a link to register: https://www.k12northstar.org/Page/9918

**Registering for e-learning at this time does not commit you but helps us in planning.

Have you moved? Are you moving? Considering home school? If your student plans to withdraw from Lathrop prior to the start of the school year (August 20th), please complete this form. Note: Student will not be officially withdrawn until we receive a records request from new school.

Don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!
